Make an impact Main purpose of job: Due to continued success and growth, we are looking to a Lab Analyst Assistant to join our team. Your responsibilities will include: To provide analytical support for a wide variety of internal and external customers. To assist in the operation of process plant, should the need arise, to ensure continuous operation of site processes whilst at the same time working to the highest health & safety and housekeeping standards. Sampling & testing a range of waste materials. Quality Assurance & Control. Liaise directly with Site Chemist, Technical Radiation Manager, Environmental Waste Manager and Site Manager. Carry out any necessary chemical analysis required by the business e.g. Gamma Spectroscopy, hydrocarbon content analysis, monitoring of air, soil and site effluent quality. Do you have what it takes? Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. Attention to detail and good organisational skills. Team working skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
