A major bank are searching for a new Web Proxy Analyst to join their team. This hire will provide support to the banks web proxy environment and has come about as an existing member of the team is due to retire. You will work in close conjunction with the banks f5 and firewall networking teams. The environment consists of 50 hybrid user proxies with data centres that go upsteam into Symantec. Although this role consists of BAU support work a large portion of the workload will be on a variety of upcoming projects including taking on their US proxies, onboarding and supporting a Macbook web proxy solution, and implementing enhancements and features for Symantec Endpoint Security given it has only just been onboarded. You will take an ITIL approach to your work when conducting risk and change management. This role only requires you to be in office a minimum of 1 day per week, giving a decent chunk of flexibility.
There is a 7 week shift pattern which is detailed below:
1. 4 of these weeks will be spent on the normal shift - 9am to 5pm
2. 1 week will be on the early shift - 8am to 4pm
3. 1 week will be on the late shift - 10am to 6pm
4. 1 week is dedicated to holiday/leave cover and will fill which ever of the above shifts is missing someone due to absence
There is additional a 1 in 5 week on-call requirement for this role for which you will be compensated, receiving a flat rate for the week you are available and additional funds for any call-outs. The hiring manager is explained there is only 1 or 2 callout that occur per month so most times you are on-call no extra work will be required.

7. Understanding of networks Policy Trace, Proxy Log Reviews
8. Change and Risk Management experience
