Summary
Baxter is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team within our manufacturing division at our Thetford plant. You will be responsible for loading finished goods on site, processing accordingly, and other general Warehouse duties, working proactively as part of a cross-functional team. This role is shifts between 6am - 6pm Week 1 – Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun & 6am - 6pm Week 2 – Wed, Thu. You will receive a salary of £24,986.36 whilst training. Once training is complete your salary will increase to £26,253.12 and you will also receive a weekly shift allowance of £64.78.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. To receive and book in raw materials
2. Locate raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 Warehouse as required
3. Process and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch
4. To support in day to day running of the Warehouse duties
5. Work as part of a cross-functional team and learn various jobs in both the Warehouse and Packing areas
6. Work on your own initiative as required
7. Assist routine blind count audits
8. Perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area
9. Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirements
10. Notify Quality assurance and the Process Leading hands of any deviations from the process
11. Place orders for Raw Material and items required for Production
12. Replenish Stock locations when needed
13. Computer Skills – Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
14. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
15. Punctual with good attendance
16. Well organised and task driven
17. Able to work in a GMP environment
18. Quality focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detail
19. Team Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly
20. Maintain high standards of behaviour while managing workload
21. Process Orientated - must follow set standards and ways of working
22. Flexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice
23. Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Desired Experience
Forklift experience would be great but we have in-house training for this.
