Key Responsibilities
The key duties for the role are:
* Administer council tax exemptions and billing for all sites, including communicating with councils regarding changes and disputes.
* Work alongside residence teams to ensure all relevant exemption forms are obtained.
* Collaborate with the finance department to ensure billing charges are passed onto residents if necessary.
* Review and process HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) and selective licenses for all relevant properties.
* Stay up to date with current legislation related to residences and compliance, such as PRS (Private Rented Sector) and HMO.
* Manage the relationship with Collegiate UK's legal counsel for tenancy agreement changes and queries.
* Assist with support requests using the ticketing system.
* Support the Operations team with ad hoc duties as needed.
Please note that due to the nature of the business and this specific role there are a large number of ad-hoc tasks which occur throughout the year – the JD is not exhaustive.
The nature of the role means that you may be required to work outside of your hours (move in weekends, summer etc). Travel may be required.
Person Profile
Experience/Skills/Ability/Knowledge:
Essential
* Excellent planning & organisational skills
* Experience of delivering customer service
* Experience within the property industry
Desirable
* Knowledge of the ANUK code of standards
* Experience within the PBSA industry
