Lead Community Practitioner Psychologist- Afan
We are looking for an enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist to Lead the existing Swansea Bay Community Psychology service and provide Community Psychology to the Afan Valley Geographical Cluster. This is a newly established service at Swansea Bay and the Afan Valley position the first of its kind in the area.

There is a need to understand and work with the wider determinants of Mental Health utilising systemic thinking and skills.
The post holder will join a thriving, friendly and supportive Psychology Network, which delivers services in a broad range of areas including, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Physical Health and Neuropsychological specialties. Psychology meet regularly for networking, sharing resources, CPD and reflective practice. There is an emphasis on Compassionate Leadership and support throughout the network.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have lead responsibility for community psychology practice at Swansea Bay. Alongside this, they will be expected to scope the needs, assets and issues at Afan Valley, leading to a formulation and bespoke, co-produced interventions to meet need within the valley.
