Part Time Accounts Assistant £25,000 (Full-Time Equivalent)Barnsley, South Yorkshire Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a business based in Sheffield as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, part-time (16 hours) basis. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform revenue reconciliation and manage the processing of payments from bank statements
* Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and credit card transactions
* Prepare and post accruals and prepayments entries
* Analyse the profit and loss accounts and nominal ledgers, reconciling them while identifying any required adjustments for prepayments and accruals
* Record and process expenses, petty cash, and credit card transactions
* Handle key control account reconciliations, including those for the sales ledger and purchase ledger
* Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
* Carry out additional tasks as needed to assist the Finance Manager and broader finance team
Experience & Skills Required:
* Previous experience in a Finance or Accounting role
* Experience using Excel
* Ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment to ensure accurate and timely financial outcomes
