Job Title: OFSTED 16 Plus Supported Accommodation Registered Manager
Location: Swindon
Salary: £45,000 -£50,000 per annum DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee our client's supported living accommodation service ( Supported living 16-18 yrs) in Swindon on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be responsible for the effective running of the service in accordance with Quality Standards and Regulations for Children's Homes and Ofsted guidelines.
To be considered, you will require Level 5 in Leadership & Management or working towards this and have experience in a management position.
We are looking for a passionate and hard working individual with a therapeutic approach.
As the Registered Manager, your duties will include:
* Developing, mentoring and leading a vibrant and enthusiastic care team
* Responsible for the effective day to day running of the home and the delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters
* Deliver the organisations vision and values and best possible childcare to the children in the service
* Build internal and external relationships with service users, families, staff, agencies, partners, and commissioners
As the Registered Manager, we are looking for someone who has:
* Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care or working towards this
* A true passion for care and working with children
* REQUIRED 2 years' experience in the last 5 years in children's social care and at least a year of this at a supervisory level
To be considered for the Registered Manager position, we are looking for:
* Supervision or management experience
* Worked in a Children's residential setting
* Confident meeting and exceeding Ofsted guidelines
