Apprenticeship Programme Manager Remote with travel across the UK Salary £35,000 to £40,000 The Role The Apprentice Programme Manager is accountable for delivering high-quality programs to our Recruit, Train, Deploy customers. You will be committed to maintaining superior standards and offering guidance to all onsite learners. This position involves managing the overall learning experience, serving as a direct supervisor to learners, and guaranteeing they receive top-tier education. This role includes providing ongoing support to apprentices, aiding them in effectively handling their responsibilities and advancing successfully through their courses. The Programme Manager is also vital in managing client and supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities Recruit, Train, Deploy (RTD) Programme Management: Manage the RTD programme from onboarding to graduation, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, industry standards, and business objectives. Facilitate a comprehensive onboarding process that includes orientation, training, and integration into the company culture. Identify potential apprentices from various niche pathways, including university, school, and college students, individuals transitioning from the military, and candidates from underrepresented groups that drive social mobility. Engage with educational institutions, military transition programs, and community organisations to source and attract diverse talent. Conduct interviews and assessments to select candidates who demonstrate the potential and commitment to succeed in the apprenticeship programme. Provide continuous support and mentorship to apprentices throughout their learning journey, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed. Manage relationships with all training providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and effective collaboration. Regularly review and assess the progress of apprentices, coordinating with training providers to gather and consolidate updates. Provide feedback and address any challenges apprentices may face, ensuring they stay on track for successful completion. Ensure apprentices successfully complete their programs and transition into full-time roles within the company or further their education and career development. Collaborate with HR on succession planning initiatives to support the development and retention of apprentices. Proactively manage your schedule to regularly visit all sites, providing necessary 1:1 time to each learner as required. Organize and manage internal and external RTD awards, nominations, and additional events to celebrate and recognise achievements. Oversee the Professional Qualifications process, advising on career development opportunities for apprentices. Focus on maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new business development opportunities within the RTD framework. Manage the Apprenticeship Service portal, ensuring that all records are accurately maintained and up to date. About you TAQA (Training, Assessment, and Quality Assurance) Level 3 qualification. Proven experience working within a training provider or employer-provider environment. Significant experience in managing apprenticeship or similar training programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support for learners. Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with training providers, educational institutions, and other external stakeholders. Experience in conducting interviews and assessments, with a strong focus on identifying potential and suitability for apprenticeship programs. Deep understanding of learning methodologies and training delivery, with the ability to apply these concepts in a practical, business-focused manner. Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards, enrolment processes, and achievement tracking. Proficient in using assessment tools and techniques to evaluate learner progress and ensure high standards of achievement. Ability to design, implement, and manage training programs that meet industry standards and business needs. Experience in managing program budgets and ensuring cost-effective delivery.
