GCSE English & Maths Co-ordinator Needed Location : Remote 3 days per week and on-site 2 days per week (Working closely with an Alternative Provision in Rotherham). Contract Type : Full-time / Temporary Salary : Competitive, depending on experience Working Hours: 9.30AM to 3:30PM We are seeking a dedicated GCSE English & Maths Co-ordinator to work with young people aged 16-18 who are part of an alternative provision in Rotherham. These learners may face challenges in mainstream education, and your role will be critical in supporting their progress, preparing them for further education. Responsibilities of an GCSE English & Maths Co-ordinator: Lead and deliver high-quality, engaging online lessons in English, Maths and Functional Skills, tailored to individual learning needs and levels. Develop and implement personalised learning plans, ensuring that all learners receive the necessary support and encouragement to achieve their full potential. Monitor and track progress, offering timely feedback and making adjustments to teaching methods or strategies where necessary. Identify barriers to learning and work creatively to overcome them, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications needed to work as an GCSE English & Maths Co-ordinator: A QTS, PGCE, or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths at GCSE level and Functional Skills. Experience working with learners in alternative provisions, special education needs (SEN), or similar educational settings is highly desirable.
