McGinley are currently seeking an experienced COSS (Controller of Site Safety) to join our team. As a COSS, you will be responsible for ensuring safety on rail worksites, protecting workers from train movements, and making sure that all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations. Start date: 26/10/2024 Duration: 1 night shift Location: The town of March Key Responsibilities: Ensure the safety of the workforce by setting up and managing safe systems of work. Communicate effectively with site personnel and ensure all safety measures are understood and followed. Coordinate and supervise trackside activities, ensuring safety standards are maintained. Act as the point of contact for any safety-related issues on-site. Report incidents and ensure compliance with railway safety regulations. Requirements: Valid COSS certification and experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of railway safety procedures. Strong communication and leadership skills.
