Purpose of Role
To project manage the final stage of the implementation of Softworks and to maintain the Softworks systems, and associated systems, eg, LMS. To provide advice and guidance to project delivery and operational colleagues. To diagnose and address potentially complex system delivery issues bringing these to full resolution. To ensure that final phase of the project is delivered as per agreed project plan timeline and in line with budget.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Oversee the end-to-end final phase of the implementation of the new Softworks system, supervising the outputs and performance provided by a multi-disciplinary team (including external consultants) so that team members can produce quality project outputs, and support achievement of project objectives.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and third-party vendors to ensure a seamless transition.
* Oversee the data cleanse process for the final 5 sites to ensure accurate and reliable data migration.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration between Iris Care group employees and project teams.
* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Track key project metrics, benefits, budgets, risks and highlight variances and trends in order to manage and control project progress and contribute to its effective governance.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders/customers to help them understand project objectives and progress, manage expectations, and deliver assigned part of programmes/projects and support effective collaboration.
* Provide advice and subject matter expertise, so that projects are delivered in accordance with standard techniques and best practice.
* Plan and carry out regular project quality reviews in order to identify, assess and take action to mitigate risks to project success.
* Deliver training to ensure programme stays on track and that full system capability is utilised.
* Develop and report on key metrics.
* Manage, monitor, and report on project funding and finances, to ensure that the projects are delivered within budget and that funding is spent in accordance with regulations and requirements.
* Work collaboratively to ensure that there are adequate resources to meet defined timescales and delivery. This includes highlighting periods of heavy activity and potential resourcing issues and supporting in reallocating/reprioritising resources and project actions.
* Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvements with Softworks and other HR projects.
* Undertake ad-hoc HR projects as directed.
Role Requirements
* Previous experience of HR, Workforce Management System and Processes, including the back end processing aspect
* Proficient in Microsoft technologies including Word, Excel and Teams
* Experience of supporting users
* Good basic comprehension of English language including literacy and numerical skills
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Workforce Management Systems
* Strong understanding of HR processes and practices
* Ability to demonstrate Caring, Reliable, Empathetic and Person-centred values with a commitment to own learning and development
* Experience of working independently as well as in a team setting
* Ability to work on own initiative and use good judgement particularly when working in isolation or under pressure.
