The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate English Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5, ensuring they develop their skills, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons.
Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school policies.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Contribute to the wider English department, sharing best practices and resources.
Support the school ethos of high expectations and a positive learning culture.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable).
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to student progress and the ability to differentiate teaching for all learners.
