Teaching Assistants required for flexible work within a range of Primary schools within and around the Huntingdon area.
We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work flexibly within a range of Primary schools in and around the Huntingdon area. These roles are to cover permanent staff absence and/or to take on blocks of work at the same school, in accordance with the schools' requirements.
The roles on offer may be to provide general support to class teachers, working with the whole class and groups of children who require focused support or the school may require 1-1 support for a child with special educational needs.
Schools often require support with little notice and we provide staff who take on short term roles which often turn into longer-term and even permanent work. Working flexibly allows teaching assistants and schools the opportunity to find out how well they can work together before a commitment is made.
The Requirements For This Role Are As Follows:
* (Desired but not essential) a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification
* Recent experience of working with children
* The ability to provide 2 recent references to support your employment with children
* Willingness to work a minimum of 3 days each week from 8.30am to 3.30pm
* The ability to provide a full, clear DBS clearance
* Access to a car is preferred but not essential
If this sounds like the sort of role you are looking for then we would love to hear from you!
