Electronics Technician
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, multi-branch engineering business based in Liverpool.
Specialising in both electrical & mechanical engineering, we have extensive knowledge, expertise, and equipment enabling us to provide a complete turnkey fault-find, repair, and manufacture service for clients.
Growing demand from clients has led to an immediate requirement for an experienced Electronics Technician.
Hours of work are 8am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri, with overtime available during busy periods.
Knowledge to include:
1. Electronics theory
2. Electronic components – Identification, construction, usage, test, etc.
3. Electronic equipment construction – SS, PTH, SMD, etc.
4. Circuit design – able to read diagrams, reverse engineer, etc.
5. Test equipment – Multimeters, function generator, PSUs, oscilloscope, etc.
Awareness of:
1. Drive systems – DC drives, Inverters, Servo amps, etc.
2. Controllers – temperature, PLCs, I/O modules, etc.
3. Power supplies – Linear, switch mode, etc.
4. Displays – HMIs, monitors, touch screens, etc.
Successful applicants will:
1. Be physically fit
2. Have a Full Driving License (no more than 3 points)
3. Have good communication and customer service skills
4. Be flexible and a good team player with a focus on quality work
5. Knowledge of PCs, basic file management, fill in forms/data, basic MS Office would be an advantage
The role comes with a competitive £40k pa (overtime is also available), together with company pension and 4 weeks holiday + bank holidays (increasing to 5 weeks after 2 years).
