About the Role
This job will play a vital role in driving customer satisfaction. You'll be representing Storm Guard in the field and working directly with customers, crews, suppliers, and city inspectors. In this role, under the general guidance of the Production Manger, you will be responsible for:
* Ordering labor and material for approved projects.
* Communicating and coordinating work schedules with customers and crews.
* Photographing each project as it progresses and communicating change orders back to the office with both photographs and written documentation.
* Supporting all field activities as needed. This may include investigating a property concern (i.e. leak, emergency tarping) or picking up materials and delivering them to a job site.
* Setting ladders and participating in mid-roof and final inspections.
* Investigating any project concerns and tracking open issues and/or punch list items to completion.
* Conducting final project walk-through’s with customers to ensure each job is fully complete to a satisfactory level.
* Managing inventory which includes keeping production vehicles and storage areas clean and organized.
* Representing the company at community events and festivals, trade shows, and networking events, and industry meetings to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated professional with exceptional work ethic and a strong understanding of the construction industry we serve. To be suitable for this role, you must have:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience with project coordination, preferably within the construction industry.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Physical agility to allow for: frequent lifting, carrying and climbing a ladder, ability to navigate roofs at various heights, ability to crawl in tight spaces.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible working hours to accommodate occasional projects that run late or schedule on a weekend. This is especially critical after a storm event.
* Proficiency with computers including MS Office and using phone/ipad for field applications.
* Experience using a hitch and pulling trailers.
* Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to pass a background check.
