Established in 1943, our network of Learning Locations provide day and residential courses for all ages, from young children to retired adults, from schools and communities throughout the UK, reaching many others through our publications and community-based programmes.
What you’ll be doing
As one of our Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistants your duties will be varied to include:
* Helping our housekeeping operations, with tasks such as cleaning and laundry
* Setting up the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
* Working in the kitchen assisting with food preparation and serving food to our visitors.
Our centre is always busy, so we need casual team members that are happy to help wherever required.

Where you’ll be based
Field Studies Council Slapton is located within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to Field Sites in Dartmoor National Park. We maintain two residential centres (Slapton Ley and Start Bay) in the coastal village of Slapton, as well as Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve.
Start Bay is very popular with primary schools and self-catering, providing exclusive use for groups of up to 40 visitors. Whereas Slapton Ley is very popular with larger GCSE, A Level and University groups and can accommodate up to 135 visitors.
