HR Officer We are working with a leading construction organisation to recruit for a HR Officer to join their team. This is a newly created role support the HR Manager. The HR Officer role is permanent and based in Lisburn The HR Officer will be responsible for: Supporting the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, helping to attract and retain top talent. Assisting with employee relations matters, including addressing queries, managing grievances, and supporting disciplinary procedures. Ensuring HR records are kept up to date and compliant with internal policies and current employment legislation. Producing regular HR reports and insights to guide strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Managing the company training matrix and coordinating the timely renewal of mandatory training and certifications. Keeping up to date with changes in employment law and contributing to the review and development of HR policies and procedures. Handling sensitive colleague information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. What youll need to succeed in the HR Officer role: 23 years of experience in a generalist HR position. Solid understanding of UK employment law, HR best practices, and social value initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach. Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
