About the Role: MET Strip/Fitter Technician & Bodyshop Mechanic As a MET Strip/Fitter Technician & Bodyshop Mechanic in our Glasgow Bodyshop, you’ll play a critical role in the vehicle repair process. This role involves suspension repairs and requires expertise in both mechanical and MET (strip and fit) processes. Your responsibilities will include: Dismantling and reassembling vehicles to manufacturer standards. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, including suspension components. Conducting detailed inspections to assess damage and determine repair needs. Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems efficiently. Collaborating with a skilled team to ensure high-quality repairs are completed on time. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in line with health and safety regulations. What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you’ll need: Proven experience as a MET Strip/Fitter Technician or Bodyshop Mechanic, with expertise in mechanical systems and suspension repairs. A strong technical understanding of vehicle systems and repair methods. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. A detail-oriented approach and commitment to delivering exceptional work. Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
