Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse at University Hospital Ayr.
What You Will Do
An enthusiastic Band 5 is required to join the outpatient team in Ayr Hospital. A genuine interest in working in outpatients, especially within orthopaedics and gynaecology, is required. Plaster room experience is beneficial, and a knowledge of gynaecology procedures would be useful.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide a high standard of care in the delivery of outpatient services within Ayr Hospital.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
* You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Working knowledge of General Hospitals Division policies and Procedures.
* Ability to keep relevant skills/knowledge updated and documented.
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
* Be able to supervise and provide a mentorship role to students and junior staff.
* A commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional development.
Hours
26 per week
