Job Details
1. Role: Governance and Risk Manager (Hybrid)
2. Format: 12 month fixed term contract
3. Salary: £62,000
4. Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
5. Pilot: 35 hour week (Friday's 9am - 1pm as a reduced hour policy the org are piloting)
6. Offices: Buckinghamshire
7. Experience: Housing Governance experience is essential.

Job Overview
To take a lead role under guidance of Head of Governance of our preparation for forthcoming RSH Inspection. The role will work closely with Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Board and where applicable our Residents Representative Team, to ensure preparedness for the forthcoming RSH Inspection with the view to achieve G1, V1, C1 assessment. The non-exhaustive list of activities to include:
1. Preparation of an exhaustive review of all important documentation, policies, and procedures.
2. Ensuring quick access to essential documents such as tenancy agreements, stock condition survey, asset management, maintenance and governance documentation.
3. Lead documentation of our compliance with the consumer and economic standards.
4. Lead preparation of assurance across the organisation working with colleagues across the business.
5. Provide advice, guidance and briefing across the Red Kite Group on housing strategies, policies, projects.
6. Review our risk policy framework and lead on the risk appetite and tolerance assessment.
What we need you to do
1. Advise the Board and ELT/SLT on RSH Inspection preparation.
2. Lead and advise on the RSH Inspection compliance framework.
3. Responsible for overseeing and advising on policy compliance with relevant regulations and legislations.
4. Keep abreast of regulatory and legislative changes that would impact the business.
5. Work with senior stakeholders on initiatives and projects to improve service delivery.
6. Report on external benchmarking data to improve policies, strategies and service delivery.
