We’re looking for Level 3 qualified professionals with 18th Edition BS7671 certification – if you’re also 2391 Inspection and Testing certified, even better Responsibilities: Solar Installation: Install and maintain photovoltaic (PV) systems, including both AC and DC circuits. Heating Setup: Set up underfloor heating systems, controllers, and immersion heaters. Heat Pump Maintenance: Work with heat pump controllers, circulation pumps, and sensors. Electrical Installations: Perform single-phase installations; knowledge of three-phase supplies is advantageous. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and electrical regulations, particularly BS7671 18th Edition standards. Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and testing, ideally with the 2391 Inspection and Testing certification. What we’re looking for: Technical expertise: Proficient in installing and maintaining solar PV systems, underfloor heating, and heat pump technologies. Electrical qualifications: Level 3 qualification, 18th Edition BS7671 certification; 2391 Inspection and Testing certification is highly desirable. Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Attention to detail: Ensures installations meet regulatory standards and are completed accurately. Adaptability: Willing to learn and work with new renewable technologies. Communication skills: Able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with clients. Customer-focused: Committed to providing high-quality service and maintaining client satisfaction. Time management: Skilled in organizing workload to complete installations on schedule.
