Your role:
In this pivotal role, you will lead our Therapeutic Area Specialists team, driving high performance and accountability for team results. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring team members, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to excel. Your focus will be on developing and implementing customer engagement strategies that not only meet but exceed our sales targets. You will leverage your in-depth understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to identify trends and business opportunities. Collaborating with departments such as Marketing, Medical, and MAP, you will ensure alignment and cohesion in our approach while respecting medical independence. You will track performance through KPIs, conduct commercial analyses to diagnose business needs, and make data-driven decisions to enhance our strategies. Additionally, you will champion a culture of recognition and reward within your team, fostering a positive environment that drives success. Your role will also involve staying updated on the therapeutic landscape and ensuring compliance with our policies and standards.
Who you are:
1. Degrees / advanced degree(s) in life sciences or marketing required; MBA preferred but not required.
2. Sound awareness of pharmaceutical business including regulatory, clinical development, sales and marketing related issues.
3. 8 years sales experience with a minimum of 3 years sales management experience in a pharmaceutical context.
4. You can establish KPIs and monitor their achievement.
5. You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
6. You always act in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
7. You are data-driven and make decisions based on analysis.
8. You are committed to continuous learning and advancing your knowledge in medical topics.
