Excellent opportunity for a 3rd Line Support professional to join a large, stable company offering specialized training in the industry and the chance to progress within the company.
The company is a global business, spanning 3 continents, specializing in manufacturing processes for a variety of industries, including but not limited to Aerospace, Automotive & Medical. Having been around for almost a century, this company has continued to grow and expand.
In this role, you will resolve incidents and requests in line with ITIL-based processes and business service levels. You will manage infrastructure, including Active Directory, system policies, servers, storage, backups, email, networks (WAN/LAN), cybersecurity, internet, and remote access. Responsibilities include monitoring, auditing, ensuring availability, patching, and implementing changes per change management processes, while also contributing to system improvements and upgrades.
The Role:
1. Resolve incidents and requests following ITIL-based processes and business service levels.
2. Manage infrastructure, including Active Directory, system policies, servers, storage, backups, email, networks (WAN/LAN), cybersecurity, internet, and remote access.
3. Monitor, audit, and ensure system availability and capacity.
4. Perform patching and apply changes in line with change management processes.
5. Contribute to system improvements and infrastructure upgrades.
The Person:
1. Strong 3rd line support experience with expertise in Active Directory, Exchange 2016/Online, Office 365, Azure Services, Remote Desktop, and Terminal Services.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft, VMware, and Cisco technologies.
3. Experience managing Windows Server environments and cloud-hosted IT services.
4. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN, WAN, and switches.
5. Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
