Step Teachers are currently looking for a Primary School Teacher in Welwyn Garden City. As a preferred supplier for Teach In Herts, we have long standing relationships with schools across the county and we are currently looking for a full time Primary School Teacher to start in September 2024. The role at present is flexible as to which year group it will be in; its is initially for one academic term with the potential to be extended beyond.
The school aims to create a love for learning in every pupil and provide them with skills to set them up for their future. At a recent Ofsted inspection the school "Good" with some outstanding features.
Primary School Teacher Role:
* Strong knowledge of the Primary School curriculum
* Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
* Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
* Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
* Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
* Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Primary School Teacher Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teaching Status
* Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Primary School Teacher
* Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
* Experience working with SEND is desirable
