An expanding Fire Engineering consultancy in London is seeking a highly driven Fire Engineer to join their growing team.

The Fire Engineer's Role
As a Fire Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of fire strategies for diverse building types. Your responsibilities will include producing fire statements aligned with the London Plan Policy and Gateway One, negotiating fire safety designs with approval authorities, and conducting smoke modelling and evacuation analysis.
You will utilise both hand calculations and complex CFD modelling while ensuring full compliance with UK fire safety legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
Producing detailed fire strategies for various building types.
Developing fire statements in line with London Plan Policy and Gateway One.
Negotiating fire safety designs and proposals with approval authorities.
Conducting peer reviews of fire engineering calculations, including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis.
Ensuring a thorough understanding and application of UK fire safety legislation.The Ideal Fire Engineer Will Have
3-4 years of experience in Fire Engineering
Broad project experience across various sectors
Membership with the Institute of Fire Engineers
A BEng or CEng in Fire Engineering, or equivalent experience
Proven experience in client-facing environments
Familiarity with EWS-1 and PAS 9980 standardsIn Return:
