Role Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals and clients with complex tax affairs
* Reviewing tax returns and other compliance work prepared by junior colleagues
* Providing proactive, efficient, and cost-effective tax advice to clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing training, coaching, and guidance
* Researching and drafting private client and employment tax advice
* Liaising with colleagues across the firm to enhance client service and technical knowledge-sharing
* Working alongside senior management and partners to improve team efficiency and tax processes
* Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures and implement best practices

Candidate Requirements
* CTA qualified or qualified by experience
* At least four years’ post-qualification experience in Personal Tax
* Strong technical expertise in personal and trust tax compliance and advisory work
* Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
* Effective time management and organisational abilities, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
* A commercial mindset, able to identify tax planning opportunities for clients
* Experience in supervising, training, and mentoring junior staff
* Some tax advisory experience (desirable but not essential)
* Exposure to other areas of tax (beneficial but not required)
