This post is for the Operations Manager of Brentworth Primary Care network. The post involves 20 hours a week spread evenly over weekdays.
Pay is £28/hour. 5 weeks paid holiday per year plus bank holiday pro-rata.
Statutory Sick Pay and Statutory Maternity/Paternity Pay.

Work will be on-site and mainly at the practices of the Clinical Directors of Brentworth (Brentford and Isleworth) PCN i.e. St Margaret's Medical Practice, Twickenham and Spring Grove Medical Practice, Isleworth.
Main duties of the job
The PCN Operations Manager will:
* Deliver business, data submission, transformation, and improvement initiatives across the PCN.
* Support the PCN's development plan, addressing implementation challenges across the patient population.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure collaborative service development and delivery.
* Manage agreed projects and oversee implementation.
* Disseminate key information to member practices and coordinate shared learning events.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day management support to the PCN Clinical Director and network.
* Support PCN Clinical Directors and practices in implementing service changes, contracts, pathways, and quality improvements.
* Lead high-priority projects from initiation to closure.
* Develop work plans with clear targets, milestones, and performance indicators.
* Produce accurate reports to support decision-making.
* Lead staff inductions and ensure appropriate IT access.
* Manage and monitor complex project budgets.
* Present complex information to staff and stakeholders, even in times of major change.
* Support practices in achieving contract targets and ensuring accurate submissions.
* Maintain strong relationships with local community organisations and stakeholders.
* Provide clinical system training as required.
* Undertake mandatory training, regular appraisals, and continuous performance reviews.
* Perform additional tasks as required to meet role objectives effectively.

Brentworth PCN provides services to seven GP practices, supporting a population of approximately 60,000 patients.

The PCN Operations Manager will establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with:

* Patient representatives

Workforce Oversight
The postholder will oversee the activity, productivity, and performance of ARRS staff across the PCN, ensuring efficiency and maximising workforce output. They will collaborate with team managers to support improvements in activity as required.

* Undertake tasks and responsibilities delegated by the Clinical Director or Hounslow PCN Management Team.
* Maintain a professional approach, demonstrating knowledge, skills, and competencies that reflect positively on the organisation.

* Undertake any required training and education related to the role.
Financial Management
The PCN Operations Manager will manage the PCN budget alongside the Clinical Directors, including workforce planning budgets (ARRS allocations). They will ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and that all expected PCN income is received.

Qualifications
Essential
* Degree level of Higher Education equivalent.
* Significant knowledge and experience of operations management and service development, delivering projects in a multi-agency or complex environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, to work effectively with a variety of teams.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, and competent numerical skills.
* Ability to work efficiently and autonomously, in order to meet deadlines.
Desirable
* Experience of operations/project management in healthcare.
