Salary: Up to £65,000.
Overview:
We are currently collaborating with a leading hospitality/retail organisation who have been rapidly growing. They are seeking an experienced project manager to join their team and enhance project delivery in a fast-paced environment. As part of the transformation, you will lead the end to end implementation of a new project management tool and a number of other key technology systems.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the successful coordination and delivery of business and technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Consistently demonstrate exceptional project management and delivery skills.
* Assist in defining project scope and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
* Develop detailed project plans to establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
* Prepare and distribute status reports to IT leadership and key stakeholders.
* Manage stakeholder relationships and project interdependencies, coordinating with multiple external suppliers for specialized skills.
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes.
* Handle risk and change management effectively.
* Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
* Collaborate closely with other group regions, including Heads of IT Projects, Department Heads, IT Project Managers, Service Desk, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Database Administrators.
Must Haves:
* Minimum of 5 years in a project manager position.
* Excellent planning and governance skills.
* Demonstrated expertise in creating detailed plans, applying comprehensive project control methodologies, and managing multiple high-profile IT projects concurrently.
* Experience delivering IT and Change projects on an end to end basis.
* Experience with coaching and training.
* Excellent Stakeholder and 3rd Party management and communication.
