IT / Desktop Support Technician – Circa £30,000 + Excellent Benefits & Flexible Working
Overview:
An excellent opportunity with a globally established, fast growing SME business based in Otford. Our client is looking for an experienced IT Technician to be the main point of contact within the business for all IT related issues and ensure the highest functionality while maintaining a strong focus on supporting business operations
Role & Responsibilities:
* Configuration and administration of their client’s desktop support environment
* Assisting with and becoming a key player in the integrity and quality of data within NetSuite ERP & internal systems
* Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
* Maintain local networks to ensure optimal performance
* Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
* Provide guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
* Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance
* Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as an IT technician supporting a Microsoft Windows and Office 365 environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
* Good knowledge of diverse computer systems and networks, internet security and data privacy principles
Desirable:
* NetSuite or similar ERP systems experience
* Degree
Package:
* Circa £30,000 base salary (depending on experience) + discretionary staff bonus
* Hours 9am to 5.30pm with 4pm finish Fridays
