Service Team Leader
Basic: £35k-38k with £45-50k OTE
Location: Hampstead, NW London
Type: Permanent/Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 6pm) / 1 in 5 Saturdays (hours negotiable for the right candidate)
Our client, a main dealer group in the Hampstead area, is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Service Advisor, Service Team Leader or Assistant Service Manager to join their busy team.
Duties & Responsibilities of a Service Team Leader:
* Manage the front of house operations including a team of 4 Service Advisors and 1 Administrator.
* Manage team performance, individual performance, WIP, KPI’s, time management and organisation of the team.
* Understanding, setting and tracking of KPI’s of a Service department and team.
* Deliver top level customer service and ability to handle complaints professionally.
* Deal with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the service department.
* Covering the Service Advisor role during times of holidays or sickness.
* Helping the department cross-sell Service Plans, Tyres and other work needed.
* Helping finalize the invoice on completion of required work.
Your Background & Skills:
* Someone eager to progress to Service Manager level who wants to prove themselves in the role.
* Proven experience working in a busy and demanding dealership, as a Senior Service Advisor, Service Team Leader or Assistant Service Manager.
* Top level customer skills and experience are essential.
* Well-presented and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Ability to build rapport and create lasting relationships with customers (which lead to customer loyalty and referrals).
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
