An exciting opportunity to join an existing team of claims handlers here at Capita!
We are looking for a person with at least one year’s experience in a claims/personal injury environment and a great eye for detail!
This permanent Monday – Friday (9am – 5.30pm) Hybrid role is mainly based at home with the expectation to attend meetings in the Manchester office when required. Candidates who live a commutable distance from Manchester with the above skill set don’t hesitate to apply today!
Salary based on experience.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
1. Reviewing and analysing industrial disease claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
2. Delivering an accurate, efficient high-quality service in line with service level agreements.
3. Reviewing all industrial disease claims to assure adherence to and compliance with the approved business processes and responsibilities of all parties involved in evaluating, processing, and handling each claim.
4. Offering professional and empathetic communication to all claimants throughout the assessment journey.
The Key Skills you will bring:
1. A minimum of 1 year claims handling experience - disease claims knowledge is desirable.
2. Someone who works well independently to take ownership over customer issues.
3. The drive to solve problems and help people.
4. A clear, confident communicator, even when faced with challenges.
5. Ability to empathise and deal with vulnerable customers.
6. Analytical, investigatory, and problem-solving skills.
