Key Responsibilities As an Assistant Acoustic Consultant, your role will involve: Conducting environmental noise surveys and site assessments in line with industry standards. Assisting in acoustic modelling and analysis for a variety of projects using specialist software such as ODEON and CadnaA. Preparing clear and concise technical reports for clients and stakeholders. Collaborating with senior consultants to deliver tailored solutions for architectural and building acoustics challenges. Engaging with clients to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of work.Candidate Requirements We are looking for someone with: A degree in Acoustics, Sound Engineering, Physics, IOA Diploma or a related field. Strong understanding of acoustic principles and relevant regulations (e.g., BS4142, BS8233, BB93). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail. Competence in using acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA, ODEON or SoundPLAN (preferred).
