Description
1. Assist solicitors with residential and commercial property transactions, including buying, selling, remortgaging, and transfers of equity.
2. Prepare and manage legal documentation, including contracts, deeds, and Land Registry forms.
3. Conduct searches (e.g., local authority, title, and environmental searches) and assist in the review of results.
4. Draft standard legal documents and letters to clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
5. Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and correspondence.
7. Manage and update case management systems to ensure files are well-organized and deadlines are met.
8. Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team, including organizing appointments, preparing files for completion, and assisting with invoicing.
9. Communicate with third parties such as lenders, surveyors, and estate agents to ensure the timely completion of transactions.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements throughout the conveyancing process.
