We have an exciting job opportunity for our market leading client based in Marlow. They are looking for a Category Marketing Manager to assist in driving the department function at a product and marketing level to ensure all responsibilities associated with the position are fulfilled.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Manage a portfolio of products and meet sales turnover targets and profit margins.
2. Manage the introduction of new products to the market.
3. Support the cross-functional teams: Sales, Finance, Service, Customer Services, and Supply Chain with the fulfillment of product and marketing responsibilities.
4. Provide and present features, benefits, and technical information on new and existing products to the sales team.
5. Work with the European product management & European marketing teams for the timely launch of new products and supporting promotional material.
Who you are:
1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing position.
2. Knowledge of Power Tool Accessory and Hand Tool market and products is essential.
3. Good analytical skills.
4. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with presenting to larger audiences.
6. Ability to travel, both within the UK and occasionally internationally.
