Job Summary
Due to an increase in students, King Alfred's Academy is seeking to recruit a Pupil Premium and Alternative Provision Learning Mentor (English) to join our enthusiastic and professional team.
To work preventatively and proactively with students and school staff by providing:
* Intensive and planned Programmes of English support in school for both Pupil Premium and Alternative Provision students to help improve academic progression.
* Intensive, high-impact support in raising learning engagement and achievement for Pupil Premium and Alternative Provision students.
* Individual or group support for the pastoral needs of students, in order to remove obstacles and barriers to learning.
