THE ROLE
To ensure transport non-conformance issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner whilst delivering high levels of customer service and meeting customer expectations. General Transport administration duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To be the first port of call for transport issues
2. Build strong working relationships with clients and internal customers
3. Advising of late runners and transport failures to customer and relevant departments.
4. Forming potential solutions to transport problems by managing and monitoring delivery.
5. Rebooking and presenting options to customer
6. Ensure customer expectations are managed
7. Logging all transport issues
8. Transport Administration
9. Logging of transport issues and failures on the transport database
10. Raising charges to customer and gaining an agreement for any incurred costs caused by client
11. Co-ordinate between haulier and customer to ensure service issues are resolved
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. Ensure timely and accurate customer notification on late running with detailed information in approved format
2. All additional costs captured on the day
3. All investigations for root cause of failures and recommended corrective actions within required time limits
4. All invoices despatched within 30 days
5. To be within 10% of team KPI for emails actioned/sent.
6. Reduce email traffic by making external calls.
