The Market Management Service was established to ensure that Enfield’s private rented sector meets residents’ needs. The Market Management Service delivers Temporary Accommodation and Private Rented Housing Services, including the procurement, allocation, and management of almost 4000 homes.
Housing Solutions Officers will support households in temporary accommodation, dealing with a wide range of issues, from queries, complaints, housing advice, disrepair, and ASB. You will proactively help residents find housing solutions and move on from temporary accommodation into private rented housing. You will also ensure the temporary accommodation is maintained to the required standards and work in partnership to address tenancy issues.
Position Overview
We are recruiting 3 interim Housing Solutions Officers to join our team. We want ambitious, proactive people who can find creative and innovative solutions to local problems and have a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for all aspects of tenancy and property management, including repairs.
2. Investigating complaints and dealing with tenancy-related issues.
3. Supporting households in temporary accommodation.
4. Maintaining temporary accommodation to the required standards.
5. Working in partnership to address tenancy issues.
Qualifications
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong IT skills, and be able to work autonomously and inclusively in a team. You should have experience of working in Homelessness, Housing Management or have a working knowledge of housing law and homelessness legislation.
Umbrella hourly rate – £27.90
