Croydon Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is a highly valued service with established relationships with local educational establishments and other services within the Council, NHS, and voluntary sector. We are looking to recruit a full-time assistant psychologist who wishes to develop their understanding of applied psychology predominantly in early years educational contexts. Under the direct supervision of HCPC registered Educational Psychologists, and in close collaboration with other professionals, the post holders will: Responsibilities Support setting staff and families to meet the needs of children in the early years with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, through advice, assessment, and intervention. Transition Support Support setting staff and families to navigate the statutory process, potentially considering placement within specialist settings, and facilitating the smooth transition into school. These posts will be particularly relevant to those seeking to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in preparation for applying for doctoral training courses in educational psychology. We anticipate that successful candidates will join the team as soon as possible.
