My client are a large FMCG business based in Manchester. Due to the current incumbent leaving the business they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their vibrant and expanding finance function, this company have an excellent track record of developing and progressing their staff so this is very much a career opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will be responsible for managing the entire process for particular business units within the organisation. This will include processing high volumes of invoices onto the system, a lot of which is automated, and ensuring accuracy, lead on query resolution with suppliers offering excellent levels of customer service, processing payments and reconciling supplier statements. You will also be involved with project work alongside your day to day responsibilities which will add to your experience and CV. This role will suit a candidate who has experience in an accounts payable role within a fast-paced, high volume environment. The salary on offer is paying up to £27,500 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working and a generous holiday entitlement, with fantastic opportunities for development and progression.
