About the role
The Admissions/Comms & Events Manager is a combined role focused on driving student growth at Oakleigh House School. You will deliver a professional, customer-focused experience from initial enquiry to enrolment, while developing and executing a dynamic social media strategy and organizing events to showcase the school. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, teaching staff, and other teams, you will foster a passionate, persuasive mindset across the school, ensuring everyone understands their role in the school’s growth and success.
This is a full-time, 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Hours: 37.5
Weeks: 52 Weeks
Who we are looking for
1. A self-starter who can operate with autonomy and learns quickly
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to make an emotional connection through communication
3. Demonstrated success in a related role
4. Prior experience of managing direct customer contact ideally in a customer-facing, service-based role, or sales
5. Experience of customer database, customer relationship management tools, and digital/online platforms
6. Previous experience of working in a complex, busy, service-driven culture: ideally a school but this isn’t a must-have
7. App skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills. Skill in design and/or communication software is a benefit (such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva)
8. Experience in use of technology apps, especially social media
