What you will do: We require enthusiastic, self-motivated and innovative clinical pharmacists to develop and support the delivery of the Scottish Government funded Pharmacotherapy Service within GP practices in NHS Ayrshire & Arran. You will use and develop your clinical expertise (including independent prescribing where applicable), working with a cohort of patients as part of a multidisciplinary practice team. Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain (including evidence of continuing professional development). Vocational Training (Level 2) or training experience to an equivalent level. Relevant experience as a pharmacist and dealing with prescribers. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Highly specialised level of clinical pharmacy knowledge, skills, clinical reasoning and judgement. Good knowledge, awareness and understanding of relevant professional and clinical standards and guidelines. Computer literacy and knowledge of information technology. Good communication skills – both written and verbal Planning and organisational skills. Advanced arithmetic skills. Critical appraisal skills. Good interpersonal skills. Full driving licence.
