Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated, and inspiring leader looking to make a real difference in a vibrant, close-knit community? Gastrells Primary School is seeking a dynamic Deputy Head Teacher to join our Senior Leadership Team for the Autumn Term 2025.
Nestled in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside in Stroud, Gastrells Primary School is a popular, semi-rural school with 6 classes and a Communication and Interaction Centre, serving 175 children. We Are Looking For someone who will:
1. be a highly skilled classroom practitioner with successful teaching experience in Key Stage 1 & 2;
2. have proven management and leadership experience;
3. have a strong commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all learners;
4. show a keen interest in pedagogy and innovative teaching methodology;
5. be an individual who embodies our school's P.R.I.D.E. values;
6. be able to develop and motivate staff, leading by example to embed effective learning and teaching strategies;
7. be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, governors, pupils, and parents;
8. have a good understanding of how to raise standards and use data analysis for school improvement;
9. be a strategic thinker capable of planning creatively for the future.
