Stephen James Consulting are delighted to be working with one of their "Not for Profit" elderly care clients in the search for a Registered Home Manager based in the Wirral, Merseyside.
The home is designed to deliver high quality residential care for older people, offering a range of luxurious spaces for residents, including glorious gardens and a streamline moderne cinema room.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage, develop and evaluate all aspects of service provision in the home, ensuring adherence to policy guidelines, relevant legislation, organisational policies and procedures, and codes of practice.
2. Lead a large team, fostering effective leadership for staff and relatives.
3. Supervise staff to enable them to maximize their potential through leadership, coaching, support, and guidance.
4. Establish and maintain an atmosphere of care based on the values of the provider, emphasizing individual concern and mutual respect between residents and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 3 years' experience in a managerial role within nursing and residential care.
2. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 5 Management.
3. Excellent leadership skills with a coaching and mentoring approach.
4. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
The role of Registered Home Manager offers a salary of £55,000 - £58,000, along with an excellent benefits and achievable bonus package, dependent on candidate experience.
