**Job Summary:** We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to assist our Services and Agreements Manager in the procurement of new mains services schemes and coordination of service diversions.
**About the Role:**
As a key member of our Technical team, you will be responsible for:
* Obtaining existing services data and creating drawings to assess implications of existing services on new developments
* Obtaining budget cost estimates for new services and diversion of existing services to assist in the preparation of budgets for land acquisition
* Obtaining new detailed mains service and diversion quotations, including designs, for use in the preparation of site budgets for construction
* Creating drawings to enable installation of ducting for construction of new highways
* Assisting project technicians in securing highway and drainage approvals and obtaining formal legal agreements from highway and drainage authorities for the delivery of new site infrastructure
* Procuring new street lighting schemes and costings for preparation of site budgets for construction
* Undertaking site inspections with highway and drainage authorities in the interests of highway and drainage adoption
* Attending meetings with statutory service providers prior to infrastructure start to ensure mains service delivery and ensuring mains services and house connections are delivered to programme
* Undertaking inspections of public open spaces to ensure compliance with approved planting schemes prior to handover to local authorities or management companies
* Performing general administrative duties in support of the role and as required from time to time in support of the Technical Department
**Key Skills and Qualifications:**
* Well-motivated with a desire to succeed
* Customer-aware and able to provide good customer service
* Well-organized and self-sufficient, with some experience of working within a team in a 'service' based role
* Some experience of project management would be helpful, but full training will be provided
* Good communicator, approachable, and polite, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
* Construction background would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel
* Construction-based qualification or working toward this would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Some experience of Autocad would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided
