The successful applicant requires an experienced and flexible hands-on approach, someone who will be subject to highly confidential information and who will be able to maintain total confidentiality.
This role will report directly to the Training Manager.
PURPOSE OF POST:
You will provide a high level of training, learning and professional development for the Company's workforce by equipping staff with the qualifications, knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out their individual roles.
You will assist the Training and Development Manager with researching, designing, developing and delivering training programs.
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Be involved in all aspects of the end-to-end learning & development processes.
2. Support with the development and delivery of appropriate training programs in accordance with statutory requirements, legislation and current industry best practice and standards.
3. Support with the delivery of Company Induction Training to new staff and provide ongoing support to staff during home-based induction period.
4. Carry out a range of training programmes independently, onsite at company premises throughout the North East region.
5. Support with the administration of the company E-learning and training monitoring system.
6. Support with the administration and co-ordination of external training courses and NVQ framework.
7. Assist the Training and Development Manager where needed in the development and delivery of bespoke training programs in line with the organisation's objectives and goals.
8. Support with the production of training course materials for in-house training.
9. Work alongside the Company's home-based trainers to co-ordinate and schedule training courses throughout the services.
10. Update each Home's Training matrices to show when training is due, booked and completed.
11. Ensure continuous evaluation, revision and development of training programs and material in line with changes occurring in the work environment, industry standards, legislation and best practice.
12. Provide support to the Training Manager and Home Managers to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
13. Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required by your manager and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of the job.
