As the Chef de Partie, you will join the team of Head Chef and Sous Chef in a busy club kitchen at a private members' venue in picturesque Buckinghamshire.
The foundation of the Club's catering operation is high-quality home cooking provided to members and their guests via the daily menu. The chef de partie will be responsible for the day-to-day running of this section.
In addition to this, the private event business and numerous member events throughout the year provide an opportunity to add that extra bit of flair and creativity to the menus. You will also be involved with this area of the kitchen operation. The Club has just had its busiest catering year to date and continues to grow.
Chef de Partie Role
* Assist with day-to-day activities in the kitchen as directed by the Head Chef/ Sous Chef.
* Take responsibility for opening and closing the kitchen as required.
* Responsible for ensuring that food is produced in a timely and efficient manner and meets the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation as set out in the menu specifications.
* Assist with effective ordering, portion, and stock control within the guidelines set out by the Head Chef/Sous Chef.
* To be aware of and ensure compliance with current health and hygiene regulations.
* Play a key role in the implementation and service of the Club menu.
The Candidate
* Experience in a similar role and/ or environment.
* Level 2 - Food Safety Certificate is required.
* A flexible "can do" attitude is essential.
* A desire to learn and expand knowledge is essential
