Project Management - construction and associated sub contract projects ability to oversee multiple projects of varying nature, at any time Manage timelines, budgets and associated tasks An exciting opportunity has arisen within a newly created Project CO-Ordinator / Scheduler role for our Ringwood based client. As leading experts in their field, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Project co-ordinator who has experience of working within either the construction / fire & safety industry.The ideal project co-ordinator / scheduler will be a dynamic, confident individual, happy to work as part of a team, whilst playing a crucial part in managing the logistics of multiple projects and helping to drive the business forward. Key responsibilities of the Project Co-Ordinator: As a Project Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process management of installation and maintenance projects, specifically centred around fire doors / associated products and services. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards while maintaining excellent client relationships. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring a proactive individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills.Whilst you won't be managing a team of people, you will be liaising with field based staff, as well as clients / suppliers, and working closely with the Director and senior management team, to ensure projects are managed effectively. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the logistics and administration of multiple projects from planning to completion, ensuring efficiency and quality. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively - communicating changes or any issues as they arise Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent service and clear communication. Work closely with office teams, site staff, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution. Identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures. Conduct monthly site and / or client calls, ensuring work is progressing as planned and addressing any issues. Provide support to site teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Bring new ideas to improve efficiency, processes, and service delivery. Be highly visible and accountable, taking full ownership of project outcomes. The successful Project Co-Ordinator will have the following experience / skills: We are seeking a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment Proven project management, project support or logistics experience, ideally from either the construction, fire or safety contracting space. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects and an ever changing schedule, with an efficient, calm approach. Excellent teamwork and independent working skills. Ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members. Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written. A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a desire to take ownership of projects (if not straight away, within time) A Willingness to learn and continually develop yourself. A desire to contribute to the growth and success of a family-run business. Ability to work unsupervised. Ability to quickly learn the job role.
