Responsibilities:
* Monitor security alerts and incidents; analyze data and trends to identify potential security threats.
* Respond promptly to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses.
* Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
* Work collaboratively with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
* Develop and implement incident response plans.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to contain and mitigate security incidents.
* Conduct security awareness training for staff.
* Assist in the creation and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and industry standards.
* Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
* Create and maintain security documentation, including security procedures, guidelines, and knowledge base articles.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in a cyber security role.
* Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools.
* Good to have one or more relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH).
* Proficiency in security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
* Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems.
* Experience with security assessments and penetration testing tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
