8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
We're looking for an experienced Painter to join our team in Ashton-under-Lyne. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in high-quality finishes, we'd love to hear from you.
Role Overview:
As a Painter, you will be responsible for both interior and exterior painting, ensuring a professional finish using water and oil-based paints.
Your duties will include:
* Preparing surfaces by burning off existing paint, rubbing down, and filling where necessary.
* Applying primer, undercoat, and gloss using brushes and rollers to walls, ceilings, doors, and timber.
* Carrying out spray painting where required, following design specifications.
* Working efficiently to meet quality and safety standards.
* Completing documentation in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in painting and decorating (both internal and external).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Comfortable working at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
* Ability to work in confined spaces when required.
* Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and the public.
