Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for confident cover supervisors who have a passion for improving the academic development of young students. The schools are all in great locations with excellent transport links between Crewe, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Macclesfield. Opportunity to earn £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience) Immediate start upon registering with Teaching Personnel Flexible work with the opportunity for full-time Key responsibilities: Supervise and manage classes across a variety of subjects in the absence of the class teacher Creating an engaging and positive learning environment for all students Liaising with class teachers and pastoral staff to ensure the needs of all students are met What we are looking for: Ability to maintain a calm and focused classroom environment, ensuring all students remain on task and all work is completed Previous experience working within a school environment is necessary for this role Good understanding of the secondary school curriculum and classroom management strategies Safeguarding Training (must be done through Teaching Personnel) To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
